Self Defense for Women

The focus of the self defense training is on correct self-protection, striking and loosening techniques, as well as freeing oneself from holds while standing and on the floor. In this course participants learn fundamental techniques for assertiveness and self defense.

Target Group and Prerequisites

This course is intended for women who want to learn the fundamental techniques of self assertion and defense. Previous experience is not required. There are no special prerequisites.

Content and Objectives

As part of self assertion training, participants will learn voice training, how to improve body language and presence, as well as about statistics and studies, in order to better gauge critical situations. The focus of the self defense training is on correct self protection, striking and grip loosening techniques, and freeing oneself from holds from a standing and laying position. During the course participants are to internalize simple, universally applicable defense techniques and concepts in order to successful apply them in realistic exercises.

Particularities

Because course content is taught successively, participants may only join the course after the third class in exceptional cases.
