Study Abroad Counselling

 

You can inform yourself at the study abroad counseling e.g. about the Faculty’s existing exchange programs and get advise regarding the development of curricula, curriculum changes and the accreditation of academic performances from abroad.

Furthermore, the study abroad counseling is the point of contact for visiting students (incomings) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, who spend part of their studies at RWTH Aachen University within the framework of exchange programs, i.e. Erasmus, but also as free movers. 

Sabrina Grübener M.A. and Mr. Philip Miessner M.A. are, aside from establishing and maintaining the Faculty’s international cooperation and contacts abroad, mainly responsible for counseling and informing students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering who wish to spend part of they studies abroad (outgoings) and who are looking for support for planning and carrying out their project.

Extended Office Hours become effective on May 3rd

Owing to high demand and long waiting lines, the Student Exchange Office will be offering extended office hours on Fridays between 10:00 – 12:00pm. The new office hours become effective on May 3rd. Please note that an appointment for the Friday dates has to be arranged by e-mail to international@fb4.rwth-aachen.de.

Open office hours without prior appointment will remain on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (1-3pm), respectively (now in Room 203).
