The new results of the influential QS World Universities Ranking again show the remarkable strendth in reserearch of the RWTH Department of Mathematics. Mathematics is ranked as number 3 among all universities of excellence/TU9 universities. The subject Statistics has improved remarkably and is now ranked no. 2 among those universities.
