Public Relations
Dear students, dear colleagues, dear guests,
in January 2012 I (in collaboration with Carolin Hostert) took over the exciting job of maintaining and expanding our section's PR concept.
My principal task not only consists in the organisation and supervision of different events like internal and external fairs, internships and university get-togethers for pupils. I am also dedicated to the fostering of cooperations with schools and other important partners. In addition to the design of information brochures and other Corporate Identity measures, my tasks include the configuration of our webpages and the monitoring of the Campus System.
Before I started working for the Section of Materials Science and Materials Engineering I worked in the International Office of TU Dortmund, where I was mainly responsible for the ERASMUS exchange program and the organisation of TU Dortmund's Summer Program. Prior to this I studied English, Spanish and Educational Science at RWTH Aachen University.
Especially due to this existing knowledge and experience, I am glad to be in charge of our Mentoring Mobile program. This knewly created offer helps outgoing students to organize their stay abroad and incoming exchange students to get along with their life as a student in Aachen.
