The concept of the FRE has been clearly defined: modern university institutes are more than mere think tanks for industry; it has proven extremely productive if research institutes and the industry pull together in the same direction.
This means that teaching and training is no longer the mere studying of grey theory but is linked to intensive support, numerous internships in industry, appropriately planned study contents and international study programs. It’s no wonder that graduates from the fields of Raw Materials and Disposal Engineering are more sought after than ever in industry.
The special commitment of the specialist group for the professional future of young people interested in natural sciences and technology is also reflected in the specially designed action program for pupils which has been continuously developed and optimized since 2004 and which is extremely popular within the target group addressed.
