On May 14 and 15, 2013, the GOR Working Groups will be holding a workshop in Aachen entitled "Simulation und Optimierung komplexer Systeme“ & „Fuzzy Systeme, neuronale Netze und künstliche Intelligenz“ in cooperation with INFORM GmbH. The workship fosters the presentatation of and constructive dialog on state-of-the-art research in this field.

This module takes a comprehensive look at concepts and methods employed by experimental economic research. Prominent experimental works in this field will be discussed, as will typical problems involved in the designing and analyzing of experiments, and the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods employed. Participants will have the chance to present their own ideas on experimental research and to discuss them with others.The colloqium targets doctoral students/post-docs in the field of business and economics and advanced Master's students (Business Administration,  Management, Business and Economics). The preparatory discussion will take place on March 13, 2013 from 10.00 - 12.00 hours in room SFo 1.

The block period will be from April 2 to April 5, 2013, daily from 09.00 - 17.00 hours in room Sfo1.
