Division 5.3 - IT Basic Systems

The Division of IT Basic Systems belongs to the Department of Internal Management and IT within RWTH Aachen Central University Administration.  It is responsible for the operation of basic IT services.

 

Our Responsibilities

Our responsibilities include the provision and administration of the IT infrastructure, the administration of the central content management system with its diverse cross-sections, the supervision of central systems for facility management, time management and smart card management, as well as the web programming for database based applications, forms, and workflows.

Within the framework of vocational training for IT specialists, we are also responsible for system integration, the technical tranining and supervision of our apprentices, and their application planning and project integration in the areas named above.
