Contracts

Our employees are responsible for the conclusion of contracts in the areas of licensing, lending, leasing, publishing, releasing, agencies, realtors, maintenance, insurance, and contracts for work and licensing agreements.

Representatives of university institutions are not authorized to close contracts in the name of RWTH Aachen.

Our team also supervises the conclusion of framework agreements and the issuance of successive supply contracts and all measures for asset management, such as mobile assets, and particularly the elimination, disposal, or relocation of assets.

Dispensable Items

Equipment that is considered dispensable for official use is listed on the Intranet. Division 7.3 offers items for sale both internally and externally, whereby offers for service use have priority. If items are no longer useable, the department grants approval for disposal. You can find out which items at any given time are dispensable from the list of dispensable items.

 

Purchasing

In Purchasing, our employees ensure the smooth supply of all standard equipment, including all pieces of equipment for rooms, office machines and equipment like copiers, fax machines, combined fax machines, photo equipment, audiovisual equipment such as devices in audio, video and projection technology; radio and TV technology, technical gases and special gases, provided they are not listed on the Intranet in the price overview for technical gases; tanks and liquid gases, provided there are no delivery agreements; other consumable materials for which a price fixing procedure is carried out centrally and of telecommunication facilities including accessories for the landline.
