Our Responsibilities
Our specialists for occupational safety and professionals are responsible for supporting and advising RWTH Aachen employees in all matters regarding occupational, fire, and health safety and protection of possessions. This broad field encompasses the risk assessment of facilities and work places, the guidance of employees, the realization of the protection of possession through modern lockers and video surveillance, and the inspection of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, flues, and safes, just to name a few focuses. One could also say that the Area of Security is the right contact person for any matters, related to security at the university in the broadest sense.
