Division 1.4 - Student Advice Centre

The Student Advice Centre advises school students, prospective students, students, parents, and school teachers.  It is the first point of contact for all questions about studies and the university.

The various fields of responsibility and advising services include:

Academic Advising

The advisors offer daily academic advising during open office hours. There is a telephone hotline and a special email contact for brief information. The Student Advice Centre offers advising, presentations, and university visits for groups - for example for the upper level - and is thus also a contact person for school teachers.  Advising, presentations, and info booths can also be offered on location.

Psychological Counseling

The psychological counseling advises and accompanies students in all problems that affect their studies. It takes place in individual conversations, and offers additional academic trainings for groups. It simultaneously supports the departmental advisors and RWTH Aache mentores with a continuous subject specific accompaniment.

School Project Office

The School Project Office organizes all of RWTH Aachen's services for school students, school groups, and school teachers. It is the contact person in the search for suitable services and is available during office hours.

Event Management

The Student Advice Centre event manager organizes and coordinates the large RWTH Aachen events for prospective students.
