ISC Services for International Applicants
The Info Service Center assists international applicants for degree courses or a study abroad period with selecting suitable courses and programmes, provides the necessary documents and application forms and puts you in touch with staff who is able to assist with your queries. Further, the ISC offers information and services for international and German students, doctoral candidates and visiting scholars. The ISC is one of the main contact points at the International Office, providing support and assistance e.g. with general questions and queries:

Social integration of our international students and staff is considered a prerequisite for their personal well-being and a successful stay at RWTH Aachen University. Therefore the ISC provides international applicants, students and researchers of RWTH Aachen with essential information about living in Aachen and working and studying at RWTH. Our services for newly arrived international students are meant to facilitate your start at our university and to help you adapt to university life in Aachen. To give you an example, we organise orientation days for international students and invite them to participate in the buddy programme. We are prepared to offer you concrete assistance from the beginning until the end of your stay and give answers to your questions and queries.

As part of the so-called Leisure & Pleasure programme, the ISC organizes various events and cultural activities especially for internationals students and guest researchers. There is also the Humboldt Haus, a lively meeting point for international and German students which hosts various events and activities such as as courses, workshops, open talks and lectures, etc., and provides the opportunity to participate in the various intercultural activities at RTWH Aachen University.
