The Department of University Communications belongs to RWTH Aachen Central University Administration and is broken down into three divisions.
Closely collaborating with university administration, the Department of Press, Public Relations, and Marketing is responsible for the tailored communication and presentation of RWTH Aachen for certain audiences. Responsibilities include the brand positioning of RWTH Aachen in the national and international competition of universities.
Additionally, our team supervises graduates and researchers from Germany and abroad. A further focus in the fundraising of additional financial means for supporting strategic university projects.
This encompasses the promotion of the corporate identity, the implementation of the corporate design, and the execuion of marketing relevant measures, including making Aachen more attractive as a place for research and science.
Constructive Dialogue Between University and Society
The goals of this include the development of long term, constructive dialogues between the university and society, the positive understanding of university terms, such as research, and the creation of acceptance and promotion in society, economy, and politics.
