Vocational Training Centers
RWTH Aachen founded the so-called vocational training centers (BAZ), in order to systematize and unify the decentral training in the various university institutions for some fields. BAZ organize the training for all apprentices in this area. They carry out the basic training and throughout the whole training period, they offer internships, courses, industry courses, and support for preparing for the final exam.
At this time there are four BAZ, one each for the areas of chemistry, electrical engineering and IT, management assistants for office communication, and mechanics.
The mathematic-technical software developers (MATSE) also receive inter-institutional services. The RWTH Aachen Center for Computing and Communication provides this offer, in addition to the complete MATSE vocation.
BAZ Chemistry

The BAZ Chemistry belongs to the Division of Vocational Training. Three full-time trainers organize the training for all apprentices in the field of chemistry.
