International Family Breakfast
RWTH Aachen is place of international encounters, with ten thousand employees from all over the world, who live in Aachen with their families.
The International Family Breakfast project was started a few years ago, in order to promote contact and exchanges between families. It offers a platform for parents who would like to meet other families and get information about the compatability of family and university.
Two times a year the Family Services Center collaborates with the International Office to offer a family breakfast for the families of RWTH Aachen members. The breakfast takes place in the Humboldt House, Ponstraße 41, and offers parents the opportunity to meet each other, to exchange advice and experiences about childcare in Aachen, and get to know the new services in the Family Services center.
Information On Location
Our colleagues are on location the whole time and will gladly answer your general questions about maternity rights, parents' rights and allowance, childcare at RWTH Aachen, and the compatability of family and career. Additionally, comprehensive written information is available on all topics dealing with family and the university
Childcare Free of Charge
We welcome you to enjoy a rich breakfast with fresh rolls, croissants, coffee, tee, and juices in a comfortable atmosphere, while your children play, frolic, and craft in the free childcare.
Participation
Please send the filled out registration form to the Family Services Center. On the form, please note how many children you are bringing, so that we can plan you into our childcare. Each family is required to pay a small two euro fee for the breakfast buffet.
