Excellent Teaching Put to the Test
On May 3, ninety participants from the university spent the day talking with and answering questions from evaluators from the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. Three years after RWTH Aachen successfully participated in the Excellent Teaching Competition, experts came to Aachen to inquire into the state of things. Measures already implemented included the Aachen Mentoring Model, a comprehensive self assessment, and number of innovative learning strategies from the Exploratory Teaching Space.
In addition to the state of the implementation of measures, the jury of experts was particularly interested in the long-term assurance and efficiency of the activities. Representatives from university administration and students, who have developed the strategy and were considerably involved in the implementation, were available to answer their questions
