Course of Study Modelling

The sub-project Course of Study Modelling, STM for short, deals with mapping out the abstract courses of study and the related regulations. The sub-project Course of Study Modelling is functionally led by Gerrit Heidenreich at the Central Examination Office and technically by Christoph Becker in the Center for Computing and Communication.

 

Semester Planning

The sub-project Semester Planning or SEP, is in charge of the processes necessary to prepare and implement the concrete course offerings in a semester. Sylvia Glaser from the Division of Academic Affairs is responsible for the managing the content of the sub-project. Marcel Lämmerhirt from the Center for Computing and Communication is responsible for the technical management of the project.

 

Participant and Performance Management

In sub-project Participant and Performance Management, TLM for short, processes surrounding registrations and student academic performance are edited for the course offerings. The content manager for this sub-project is Marcel Thiel from the Central Examination Office, and the technical manager is Peter Steves from the Center for Computing and Communication.

Supplementary Sub-Projects

Application and Student Management

In sub-project Application and Student Management or BSM, processes for application, admission, enrollment, re-registration, semesters of leave, and termination of studies for RWTH Aachen students and the administrative processing of student and social fees are dealt with. Torsten Dickmeis from the Registrar's Office is responsible for the functional management of this sub-project.

Data Migration

Within sub-project Data Migration, which is due to begin soon, the migration of present data from the existing system into the newly integrated system is prepared and implemented.
