With our assistance you will identify appropriate calls for proposals and sources of funding to realize your research ideas. Alternatively, you can make use of the use of the funding database ELFI Project Database (de) free of charge.

During the proposal writing phase we assist you in meeting all formal call requirements in compliance with the funding programs. We offer you individual advice and provide guidelines on:

The guidelines are adapted to the specific needs of researchers at RWTH Aachen University. Individual support will be provided for example via proof-reading your proposal and by offering various seminars and workshops on the topic of research funding.

 

Seminars and Workshops on the Topic of Research Funding

Basic training in the acquisition of third party funding for scientists can be found in our seminar program. In several customized workshops, a large number of practical exercises is included enabling you to actively present your project idea. Furthermore, we offer seminars on upcoming calls on a regular basis.

Our Service – Administrative Project Management

We offer advice and project management for EU-funded projects coordinated by RWTH Aachen University as well as consulting services for coordinated programs of the German Research Foundation, DFG for short, such as

Collaborative Research Centers - SFB
Research Units and
Graduate Research Training Groups.

We actively support our scientists from the first concept sketch to the submission of a successful proposal. During the lifetime of (EU funded) projects coordinated by RWTH Aachen University and Collaborative Research Centers (DFG) we provide support to our researchers by taking over tasks related to the administrative and financial management.

 

RWTH Aachen Unversity – Institutional Strategy

Institutional Strategy II at RWTH Aachen is funded through the framework of the second phase of the Excellence Initiative and gives insight into thestrategic plans at the University, which also offers useful information for your applications.
