GründerStartInitiative, GSI for short, offers a possiblity specific to Aachen. With GSI, IHK Aachen and RWTH Aachen support promising technology oriented business in the Aachen region. GSI is operatively managed through a limited liability company, whose chief executives are Mr. Nettekoven (Chancellor of RWTH Aachen) and Mr. Drewes (Chief Executive of IHK Aachen).

How can GSI help Entrepreneuers?

GSI takes a share of the funded business (usually between five and ten percent) for a time period of up to five years. In addition to coaching, GSI ensures a loan of up to 50,000 Euros, in which the business shares of the GSI are contained or deducted. RWTH Aachen and the Industrie- und Handelskammer Aachen (IHK) initiated the GründerStart-Initiative, in order professionalize business ideas capable of growth as quickly as possible.
