The Patent Scouts
The RWTH Patent Scouts provide services on all matters relating to the innovation process, such as advice on all questions pertaining to the broad topic of "Innovation at the University" and how to deal with inventions and innovations arising from research.

Personal Advising and Project Accompaniment
We would like to discuss your initial business ideas with you in a confidential conversation and develop a patent exploitation and intellectual property strategy that is tailor-made to the specific project situation.
We also offer to provide you with advice and assistance concerning patents and innovation at later stages during your project. Please note that we also collaborate with the Technology Transfer division of Forschungszentrum Jülich, as part of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA). Furthermore, we offer to hold tailor-made information events and workshops that address specific issues pertaining to the protection and exploitation of intellectual property.
