The aim of the Program for Excellent Management in Science (PROFIS) is to support newly-appointed professors with assuming and managing their position as researchers, teachers and executives.

 

Excellent Management in Science - Seminars and Coachings

In accordance with the University's guidelines for Staff Development we offer you a seminar program which address the everyday challenges faced by professors and which we are confident will meet your individual needs.

The program offers seminars and workshops (de) dealing with various leadership and management topics. All events will be presented by high-profile instructors with experience in the university sector, in an exclusive atmosphere and providing good working conditions as well as opportunities to network with colleagues.

 

There are seminars and workshops addressing topics from the following five core areas:

• Leadership Management
• Research Management
• Performance Management
• Personality Management
• Networking and "We-Feeling"

Further, there will be courses addressing topics such as internationalization, equal opportunities, and diversity.

Individual Coaching

If you are interested in participating in a personal coaching, addressing individual questions e.g. concerning your professional role or finding your way into your new job, please contact Ms. Dagmar Grübler.
