Documents to bring to Germany
- A valid passport
- Non-EU nationals: a valid entry visa
- Offer and acceptance letter or invitation letter, i.e. the necessary documents for enrolment
- Sponsorship letter or other proof of adequate funds to support yourself in Germany

Original Documents and also in a certified translation:
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate (if possible: international marriage certificate)
- Higher education entrance qualification certificate (equivalent to the German Abitur)
- University degree certificate (plus transcripts / academic record)
- Insurance documents (e.g. health and travel insurance documents)
- International driving license
- Vaccination certificates and other relevant medical documents
