AixCYR - Aachen Center for Young Researchers

The "Aachen Center for Young Researchers" (AixCYR) provides postdocs at the University with networking opportunities. On a regular basis, early-career researchers at RWTH organize meetings to give participants the chance to discuss their experiences within and beyond their individual fields of expertise, providing a forum in terms of support, discussion and exchange, also with regard to career planning and career opportunities.

The International Office has started a non-academic advising program for international doctoral candidates.  Thanks to the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the following events and activities are on offer for German and international doctoral candidates:

Forum for Female Doctoral Candidates

The Forum for Female Doctoral Candidates offers interested women a place to share experiences and information in the form of an informal network.  The network is organized and planned by the participants themselves.

The Center for Doctoral Studies provides an organizational framework for skills training opportunities and supports members in implementing their suggestions.
