International InvolvementFabian Erler
Every year RWTH expects around 1,900 new international students, whose needs are at the focus of the International Office's attention.
Our goal is to provide our international guests with a good start at the University, to welcome them, and to individually mentor them, particularly in the beginning but also beyond. Quick and successful integration into the University and city, a lively culture of welcoming, and eye to eye mentorship are important to use. But we need your help!
The International Office already organizes a series of offers to attain this goal. Maybe you experienced yourself that it is sometimes easier to talk with people your same age or similar to you and thus find your way? Using the principle "from students for students" we want to not only improve supervision overall for international students but also offer you the perfect opportunity to get involved internationally and have important experiences and acquire soft skills.
Under the motto "Internationalization@home“ the International Office offers you the possibility to get involved as a buddy or participate in Certificate International. An international student simultaneously welcomes the opportunity to be supervised by you through our numerous mentorship components.
