The Info and Service Center (ISC) offers information and services for international and German students, doctoral candidates and visiting researchers. Its staff is glad to assist you with queries and to provide general information on a broad range of topics:
You want to go abroad?
Besides improving your foreign language proficiency and acquiring expertise in your field of study, a study abroad period will broaden your horizons. For students and academics interested in going abroad, the ISC provides information about study and research opportunities worldwide, international exchange programmes and university partnerships. We offer comprehensive information material, field reports, etc. and refer you to our counsellors for professional advice.
You want to meet new people …
The ISC also coordinates the leisure and event programme RWTH Leisure and Pleasure consisting of field-trips and tours of Aachen and environs as well as social events which are to contribute to the integration of international researchers and their families into the university community. The Humboldt Haus at Pontstrasse 41 is the international centre of RWTH Aachen University, a lively meeting point for German and international students which offers a colourful programme of events which provide the opportunity to take part in intercultural activities at the university.
