International Meeting Points
The Humboldt Haus hosts the various international societies at RWTH and is a lively meeting point for international and German students. The international clubs and the team of the Humboldt House organise various activities and events such as courses, workshops, parties, film screenings, open talks and lectures, small theatre productions, etc., and provide all RWTH members with the opportunity to take part in various intercultural activities. But to make the Humboldt Haus a lively and interesting place, student participation is needed! We especially welcome events which are aimed at German and international audiences and participants alike, with an international and student-oriented focus.
At the Humboldt Haus, you can also find the offices of the Intercultural Centre of Aachen Students, INCAS. On behalf of the International Offices of RWTH Aachen University and of the Aachen University of Applied Sciences, INCAS strives to bring together students from all over the world and to help international students settle into life in Aachen before the start of their course. INCAS is financially and logistically supported by both Aachen universities. It organises field trips, weekly meetings, arranges linguistic tandems and offers student counselling services in their offices at the Humboldt Haus.
For several years now, international students also like to meet at the facilities operated by the Evangelic and Catholic student communities, ESG and KHG. Both organisations arrange meetings and round table discussions as well as a comprehensive events programme for international students. Further, the ESG and KHG provide social counselling to students.
