Background
The NRW graduate school Fuel Production from Renewable Resources (BrenaRo) at RWTH Aachen University is one of 17 research schools funded by the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The goal of BrenaRo is to train highly qualified experts in the area of energy production from renewable resources by means of a structured, interdisciplinary, in-depth training programme designed for doctoral students. Special emphasis is placed on interdisciplinarity between the fields of biology, chemistry, and the engineering sciences as well as on the further development of social skills.
13 of the 25 doctoral students receive funding through scholarships. At the time stipends are still available. Eligible for funding are highly qualified graduates in the fields of biology, chemistry, and the engineering sciences.
