ERASMUS internships within as part of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) offer students of all disciplines the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in their degree course within an industrial placement at a foreign company. At the same time, interns have the opportunity to learn about the culture, language, and working methods of the host country.

Practical professional experience is becoming increasingly important for students. When applying for a job and talking to prospective employers, at the latest, students will realise the importance placed on industrial internships. As regards employment opportunities, placements at international companies abroad may turn out to be especially useful. Ideally, internships may lead students to an offer of permanent employment upon successful completion of their degree.
