MIRAI RWTH Scholarship for Japan 2013/2014
Within the collaborative framework with outstanding partner universities in Japan, RWTH Aachen offers four MIRAI scholarships for study abroad lasting at least three months.

Funding
The Japanse term "MIRAI" means "future". With this scholarship, RWTH Aachen wishes to strengthen the exchange with its Japanese partner universities.
Students at all three levels, that is Bachelor, Master, doctoral studies, and all subjects are invited to study or research at one of the excellent Japanse universities. The stay is for the 2013/2014 academic year and is funded with 3000 Euros from RWTH Aachen, regardless if the stay is for one or two semesters.
Application
A complete application includes
- CV / Resume
- Statement of motivation
- Academic Record
- Confirmation of your stay abroad by the partner university
As part of your statement of motivation, about one DIN A4 page, please provide a description of your specialization or your research project and discuss your motivation for the program.
You may also include a letter of recommendation by a university professor to support your application.
Submitting Your Application
Please submit your completed application to the International Office preferably via email (please scan all your documents into a single PDF file). If this is not possible, you can also send your application by mail or hand in your application in person at the International Office.
Double Funding
Double funding of stays abroad throgh different RWTH Aachen scholarship programs or other public funding organizations such as the German Academic Exchange Service or PROMOS (de) is not possible.
