RWE Power Engineers Programme
RWE Student Fund
The RWE student fund aims at promoting and supporting students in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and of other disciplines in the engineering sciences that are concerned with generation and distribution of electricity.
Scholarship holders receive a monthly stipend, and they are advised and promoted by a selected RWE mentor. Further, they receive special training in seminars and traing units. They are also invited to get involved in RWE activities. For example, scholarship holders may complete internship placements at RWE, and they are given to write their master's or diploma thesis as part of a research project at RWE
Application Procedure
Applicants must have successfully completed their their "intermediate diploma" (Dipl.-Ing. students) or their first semester as a Bachelor's student. Further, your GPA must be at least 2.5 or higher. Typically, RWTH members of academic staff propose suitable candidates. Students however also have the opportunity to apply for the scholarship themselves. For further information, please visit RWE's web pages concerned with the RWE Power Engineers Scholarship scheme (link in German).
