I was exposed to extremely competent and intelligent members of Staff as well as students. I will forever cherish my memories in RWTH Aachen.
I truly have enjoyed the time in Aachen, not only from the academic side but also for the friendships I have made there. The RWTH is an outstanding institution, and in comparison to other institutions in Germany, quite open to the world and to international students. I think this last issue will benefit enormously the university in the near future.
Although, unfortunately, I had not the possibility to continue my research collaboration with RWTH because Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Disciplines do not exist in Aachen anymore, I had and still have the possibility to follow to an extent the research accomplishments in several areas of the engineering in RWTH which are at the very fore front of the world wide developments.
Support for international activities and shared projects are wonderful. I really appreciate my mentor’s vision and will make my best to have the most beneficial results!
The University offers all necessary tools for conducting research. This in terms of materials and human support. What I most like is the "type of doctorate" which is carried out at the RWTH Aachen, which gives the doctorate much free space to take decisions, as well as responsibilities. I always thank the opportunity of having being accepted for a PhD position at the RWTH Aachen.
