Are you looking for contact with RWTH Alumni in your city or other countries? Or would you like to know if there are alumni associations for your previous institute or department? You’re asking yourself, who’s representing RWTH? Then take a closer look at our network and become a part of our RWTH Aachen alumni family.  The worldwide alumni network is only possible through active communication among our alumni.

Many former RWTH students still feel connected to us and are involved as sponsors or ambassadors.  Our central contact, information, and communication network offers activities for students and supports alumni organizations in other cities and countries.  
    
RWTH Aachen and alumni both profit from the exchange of knowledge and sharing of experiences.  The goal of alumni advising is to strengthen the bond between our university and former students, as well as to increase contact among RWTH alumni.  The alumni network provides current information about research, teaching, university life, further education opportunities, and cultural and athletic events. 

Students become alumni, and alumni become friends, supporters and sponsors of the University – according to this principle, the alumni initiative at RWTH complements the work of proRWTH, the Association of Friends and Supporters: Graduates, companies, and other proRWTH members support RWTH Aachen in various ways, also financially.

 

Through alumni, I was able to establish contact with former classmates, with whom I had lost touch.  Meeting each other, sharing anecdotes, and simply the chance to chat: this can serve alumni, and is made possible through a list of all alumni participants.  Since many former contacts work in “similar” fields, it is very helpful to exchange ideas and build the respective networks.  My children also study at RWTH.
