The International Office is your first contact at RWTH Aachen University.

Therefore we provide you first with directions to the Super C Student Services Centre, which hosts the International Office.

If you do not have any specific contact person in mind, you should refer first to the

Info Service Center ,

whose office rooms are located on the third floor.

There you will find the friendy staff of the ISC service team who will be glad to assist you.The photograph on the right shows you a view of the SuperC Student Service Centre.

Aachen Westbahnhof (Aachen West Train Station)

The Westbahnhof is the first Aachen station you encounter coming from the direction of Düsseldorf. Coming from the direction of Cologne, you will first arrive at Aachen Hauptbahnhof, the main railway station, from where you can take a train to Aachen West.

The main campus area of RWTH is within walking distance of Aachen West, it will take you about 10 minutes to get there: Descend the Westbahnhof steps and turn left; after the underpass turn right onto Geschwister-Scholl-Straße. Follow the street into Schinkelstraße and you will arrive on Templergraben. To your left, you will see the university main building. Turn left, continue down Templergraben and you will arrive at the Super C building, which hosts the  International Office and the Info Service Center (3rd floor, Room 329).

Aachen Hauptbahnhof (Aachen Central Station)

Right in front of the train station, you can take bus line 13A in the direction of Eurogress/Ponttor. Alternatively, take bus line 13B on the other side of the road in the direction of Schanz/Ponttor. Both bus lines will take you to the bus stop "Technische Hochschule" on Templergraben, right in front of the main building of RWTH Aachen University. The Super C building, which is where you want to get if you want to contact the Info Service Center, is located to the left of the main building.

By foot

It will take you about 25-30 minutes to get to RWTH Aachen University on foot. The good thing about going on foot is that you can catch a glimpse of the historical city centre as well as Aachen Cathedral and the historical city hall. Here is how to find the city centre and the RWTH main campus area: Coming from the train station you cross the street and walk into Bahnhofstraße, which you follow until you can turn left into Theaterstraße. Continue up Theaterstraße, passing the Theatre on your left, and turn right onto Kapuzinergraben. Then turn left onto Hartmannstraße until you can turn left again onto Münsterplatz (here you should be able to catch a glimpse of the cathedral). Here, follow up Krämerstraße until you arrive on the market square in front of City Hall. Go to the left, pass the Karlsbrunnen (a statue of Charlemagne), and then turn right into Kockerellstraße. Follow this street up until it joins Eilfschornsteinstraße, which you also follow up until you arrive at Templergraben. You can see RWTH's SuperC building to your left across the street.
