Scholarship Disbursement

 

Typically scholarship instalments are paid into the bank account of the scholarship holder. Therefore make sure to provide your funding institution with your bank details as soon as possible. Please get informed about the regulations of your funding institution concerning the disbursement of scholarships.

Researchers and academics who have a short-term scholarship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation or the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) mostly obtain their scholarship instalments at the Bursar´s Office of the Host University: this applies as a rule in case of stays of upto three months. In such cases scholarship holders are informed accordingly by their funding institution. The instalments must then be collected at the university's Bursar's Office (Templergraben 55, Room 38 (Basement), Opening Hours Mon - Fri 8 am - 12 noon).

In order to receive the scholarship instalment, the above mentioned scholarship holders must present their passport and membership card issued by the funding institution. Please take notice that instalments must be collected by a concrete date (please check the regulations of your funding institution concerning the scholarship disbursements).
