University Entrance Qualification Certificate

All applicants to RWTH Aachen University need a university entrance qualification certificate, e.g. the Abitur certificate. Certificates documenting any of the following are also sufficient: a subject-linked university entrance qualification (which may be earned through graduation of the gymnaisal higher level of a business college or through attending a preparatory college (Studienkolleg)) or proof of qualification through a vocational activity (e.g. individuals, who can prove they have at least three years job experience in a vocation).

Please note: An advanced technical certificate or university of applied science entrance qualification is not sufficient to apply for studies at RWTH Aachen University.  Students with this qualification can apply to a technical school, for example the Aachen University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Aachen).
