A Master's programme builds on a previously completed Bachelor's programme in the same or a related field of study. While the Bachelor's programme leads to a first university degree and enables students to enter into a profession after a relatively short period at the university, students in the Master's programme continue their studies toward a more comprehensive, research-oriented academic qualification. The master's programme deepens and extends the knowledge and skills acquired in the bachelor's programme and provides a more in-depth expertise and methodological awareness in the respective discipline.
As an admission requirement, M.Sc. and M.A. candidates must have an bachelor's degree in the same or a related field.
