Visit to Elbe Tunnel Operations Center in Hamburg

We welcome you to a tour of the Elbe Tunnel operations center on September 21, 2012. We would like to extend our thanks to alumnus Christoph Schröder, who organized this exciting tour for us.

Program

4-4:30pm: Meeting point is the operations building Nordportal, Holmbrook 15 a. After a short welcome we will see a film about the construction of the pipes.

4:30-6pm: Tour through the operations center and technical rooms. There will be enough time remaining for exciting topics, such as the upgrade system everyone knows, who has been stuck in traffic here in the last few years, or the course of action in case of fire in the tunnel.

6pm: Meeting at Röperhof, Agathe-Lasch-Weg 2, 22605 Hamburg, for dinner with time for getting to know each other and networking. The Röperhof is about a five minute walk from the operations center.
