RWTH Start -Up

The RWTH Start-Up Funds are project related funds that shall provide initial funding to junior scientists in order to foster their scientific autonomy and profile. Target groups are:

  1. Postdocs who are pursuing a scientific career
  2. Assistant professors (W1)

RWTH Lecturer

RWTH Lecturer is targeted at distinguished researchers with a doctorate who are characterized by their extraordinary teaching and research activities. The honorary title “RWTH Lecturer” will be awarded for a period of three years. Recipients will be presented with the title at a university event. Applications can be submitted to Maria Tojcic (application form). Funding will be available up to October 2017.

RWTH Fellow

RWTH Fellow is targeted at assistant, associate and full professors (C3/C4/W2/W3) who do outstanding research. The RWTH Fellow offers professors more time for research by releasing them from their mandatory teaching assignments. Applications can be submitted to Maria Tojcic (application form). Funding will be available up to October 2017.
