Wednesday, October 4, and Thursday, October 5, 2017
The workshop "Tools and Applications for Innovative Operational Competence Management" will take place October 4 and 5, 2017, at RWTH. The event is part of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's funding priority "Operational Competence Management in Times of Demographic Change." A total of 31 joint projects nationwide are researching this topic with different partners in industry. The RWTH Institute of Sociology organized the workshop with partners from the University of Hildesheim and the VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH.
|When?||October 4 and 5, 2017|
|Where?||SuperC, Templergraben 57, Aachen|
The objective of the funding priority workshop is to inform participants about the approaches, methods, and central results of the funding priority and to allow industry representatives to discuss with one another. Furthermore, the event should help intensify networks between research institutions and industry representatives and practitioners and thus to guide the transfer of research results into real practice.
Central results of the funding priority will be presented in talks on the first day. The second day is dedicated to practice. Projects from the funding priority will present their results along with new tools, methods, and strategies for operational competence management at a research marketplace. The marketplace is an interdisciplinary and multi-sector meeting point, where participants can discuss new perspectives and network.
