In order to obtain a study placement in one of RWTH Aachen's restricted admission courses of study, you must directly apply to RWTH Aachen. Please apply online for the first semester of study.

Information Material and Contact Offices

Legal information about beginning studies is published each semester in the brochure "RWTH-Info zur Studienaufnahme“ at the beginning of May for the following winter semester and the beginning of December for the following summer semester.

Carefully read the information, note your questions, and make sure to get these answered before the application deadline passes. The Student Advice Centre and Registrar's Office offer presentations about the application process each year.

Applications are not required from individuals from Luxembourg and the German-speaking community in Belgium. Individuals from the remaining EU and EEA countries are recommended to submit an application before July 15.

Direct enrollment is possible at the International Office between September 1 and 30.
