Material Science & Engineering (MatSE)
Description
The materials science research activities at RWTH Aachen are characterized by a holistic approach: we focus on the comprehensive investigation of the design, processing, performance and application of materials. Our activities cover all materials groups including metals, plastics, ceramics and glass, including industrial-scale structural materials, e.g. for civil engineering purposes, as well as small-scale functional materials, e.g. for new electronic devices.
