Production Engineering (ProdE)

 

Description

The profile area Production Engineering aims to increase the competitiveness of German production technology. A significant competitive advantage for the important value chains in high-wage countries can only be achieved if production is understood, designed and operated in a more interdisciplinary and integrative way. Hence RWTH Aachen University focuses on developing holistic scientific descriptive, interpretative and design models as well as key technologies for production.
