In March and April 2013, the International Office will be offering two special training workshops in English on the subject of “Successful Examination Management”.
You repeat your learning stuff over and over again without being able to memorize it? You would like to improve your memory skills? You would like to work more concentrated?
Contents
Presentation and active practice of:
- Personal memory strategies
- Theories of memory
- Visualization of learning material
- Organization of the learning material
- Improving concentration
- Dealing with interruption sources
Requirements
- Matriculation at RWTH
- Participation in the complete course unit
- Active participation
- Willingness to communicate and exchange experiences with others
Course Dates and Times
The training is offered in English and on the following dates/ times:
- Course 1: Thursday, 22 March 2013, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Binding application for Course 1 is due by March 15, 2013. - Course 2: Wednesday, 10 April 2013, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Binding application for Course 2 is due by April 4, 2013.
The courses will take place in Humboldt-Haus, Pontstraße 41. The number of participants per course is limited to 12.
Registration
Registration is to be done in person at the Info-Service Center of the International Office:
SuperC, R. 329, Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm , Wed 9.30 am to 4 pm
You have to leave a deposit of 10 Euro which you will receive back at the end of the workshop day.
Participants will receive a Certificate issued by the International Office.
