Blended Learning and ETS 2014 to 2017 Project
The experience with the ETS projects and the altered demands of teaching have moved the RWTH Aachen Rector's Office to strive for the university-wide implementation of blended learning concepts. Aside from the current approaches in face-to-face teaching, additional offers will be developed within the faculties that use the targeted implementation of media to enable autonomous learning, independent of time and space.
Additionally, internal RWTH service providers will increasingly coordinate their service offers around blended learning. For this purpose, the Rector's Office approved the "Blended Learning and ETS 2014 to 2017 Project," BL&ETS for short, and provided a budget of five million Euros.
A central steering group is directing the Blended Learning and ETS 2014 to 2017 Project – BL&ETS.
During the project duration RWTH Aachen will also be intensively involved in the national project Hochschulforum Digitalisierung, in order to contribute its own experiences at the national level.
