An RWTH Alumni Topic of Interest Event in Munich- “Verkaufen!? Das könnte ich nie!”

The new date in time will be announced in due course

Does the term “sales” make you think about sleazy used-car salesmen, doorstep brigades and annoying cold calls? For centuries the act of selling has had a bad reputation in our culture.

Do you find that even as an expert in your profession you have to constantly present your achievements in the proper light in order to convince colleagues and customers of your expertise, your services and your products?

In our 45 minute long presentation this evening, we will examine where this bad image in our society comes from and offer alternative ways to sell services or products.

The subsequent exchange of experiences over a social dinner offers many opportunities to look at the topic of sales in a new light – with more gratification and a sense of quality.

We would like to thank Ms Stefanie Marek for turning her idea into an event and organizing it.

Stefanie Marek, RWTH Alumna, and Christiane Jung have been communication and marketing consultants for more than 10 years now, having helped companies with convincing sales strategies for many products and services. They develop employee competencies and optimize sales and marketing materials – in keeping with their motto “people buy from other people.” Among their clients are, for instance, Bayersicher Rundfunk, e-spirit AG, UNIGLOBE Deutschland GmbH, codecentric AG, Roche Pharma, Laborgruppe Schottdorf, Siemens AG, or formschön GmbH. In many cases, they keep in the background and honor client confidentiality.
