Content

In the proposed training event, Roy Pennings will discuss how to best position technical and non-technical projects so that they meet the European Commission’s political priorities and competitive ambitions. He will discuss in-depth the philosophy behind H2020 and the use of the ‘8-step methodology’ when designing a new funding proposal. The aim is to make scientists aware that H2020 requires that they use a ‘reverse-engineering’ approach when starting their project, putting the EC-desired end-result in the middle and then work backwards to the scientific questions that need to be answered. Significant time will be spent on strategies to create a convincing impact section and plan dissemination activities.
