Seminars & Career TrainingThilo Vogel
To be a successful professional, you need more than just subject knowledge. Your major, final GPA, and length of study are all fundamental hiring criteria. However, the development of your career after you are hired depends on how well you master soft skills. What kind of business etiquette needs to be followed, how do you present yourself and what you have to offer, and how do you move about within corporate structures?
Childcare During Seminars
The RWTH Aachen Family Services Center offers a special childcare service during the seminars. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please contact the Family Services Center at least 14 days before the seminar
The RWTH Aachen Career Center supports your career through opportunities that strengthen your professionalism in the application process and exercise your individual skills. Every semester we put together a comprehensive program to help you with your first steps in the professional world. You can find all of our offers in our brochures and in the event calendar.
Should you have any questions about or suggestions for our events, please contact the Career Center directly: email@example.com.

Terms of Participation and Information about Course Participation
All enrolled RWTH Aachen students can participate in the Career Center seminars. Registration takes place online and a registration confirmation will be automatically sent to you. Please bring this with you to the event. Registration is normally opened ten days before academic semester begins.
Registration for courses- as long as there are seats available- is possible during the entire duration. You can register for a maximum of ten courses this way. If you need to register for more courses, please contact us.
Courses with Fees
Online registration is required for courses with fees. The fee amount can be found in the course description under “Kosten” and on the registration confirmation.
Terms of Payment
Course fees are due at the time of registration. They will be withdrawn (via debit) from your account at the end of the semester.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Due to the amount of work it entails, cancellation of booked seminars is only possible in special cases. If you wish to withdraw from a course, you must provide written notice to the Career Center at least two business days before the offer starts (online to the address: firstname.lastname@example.org). You are not responsible for the course fee if you cancel your registration. However, we reserve the right, to restrict participants from further registration if they often register for courses and then cancel without due notice or do not show up for the course. We will notify those participants of our decision. Please note: If you register for a course with a fee, do not participate, and have not cancelled your registration within the appropriate time frame, you are still required to pay the course fee!
We reserve the right to cancel seminars due to unforeseen circumstances (such as the lecturer falling ill or not enough participants). You cannot demand to have the seminar held. If this is the case, you will not have to pay any fees.
