Vocation Description

Carpenters work in interior construction, and finish shelfs, cupboards, dressers, and tables and finish the disassembly and assembly of industrially manufactured furniture pieces. Special wood working machines are primarily used in this occupation. Repairs and maintenance work are also part of a carpenter's duties.

Practical Training

Practical training takes place in Department 10.0 Facility Management's workshops and is supplement through inter-company courses.

School Training

School training takes place at the Mies-van-der-Rohe-Schule,
Neuköllner Str. 17, 52068 Aachen.

 

Salary, Job Ticket, and Vacation during Training

Training Salary:

1st Training Year: 901.82 Euros

2nd Training Year: 955.96 Euros

3rd Training Year: 1,005.61 Euros

Contributions to capital formation: 13.29 Euros

Job Ticket: starting January 1, 2016, 20 Euros a month

Christmas Bonus: 95 percent of November salary

Vacation Days: 29 days a year
