Institute for Mineral Resources Machine Technology Makes Donation

At the Christmas party in 2015, the Institute auctioned several models of excavators and a trip to a traditional St. Barbara’s festival in Poland, which celebrates the patron saint of miners. Earlier this week, the institute donated the auction proceeds to two institutions.

The Hortus Dialogus hospice in Nidegen-Abenden and Café Zuflucht, a refugee support and advising center in Aachen, have received 1510 Euros each.

For over 10 years now, the Institute for Mineral Resources Machine Technology, IMR for short, has been organizing auctions for good causes. Over the years, the institute has donated more than 10,000 Euros to various associations and institutions in the Aachen region and beyond.
