A Good Academic Start in Engineering

Registration for the project between RWTH and FH Aachen is possible until March 15, 2019.

 

"A Good Academic Start in Engineering”: Since 2015, the joint project between FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University has provided orientation for prospective students in the engineering subjects.

The project, also know as "Semester Zero," offers prospective students, school students as well as students who want to transfer to another degree program the possibility to register at both universities simultaneously and to attend classes.

Participants can find out for themselves which university and which subject, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, and civil engineering, best suits them.

So far, more than 600 prospective students have participated in the program. It is possible to join the program right after completion of the oniversity entrance qualification or "Abitur."
