58 RWTH Aachen apprentices received their completion certificates at one of the university’s guest houses during a celebration. In the name of RWTH Aachen, Chancellor Manfred Nettekoven congratulated them on passing their exams and acknowledged the former RWTH Aachen apprentices. In addition to the Deputy Chair of Staff Council of the university, Hans Keller, and Heinz Gehlen from the IHK Aachen, other representatives of RWTH Aachen and the vocational schools also celebrated, including the trainers with the successful young professionals.
The young adults were trained in various institutions and institutes of the university in ten vocations.
The largest group of successful apprentices were the management assistants for office communication: Anna Baum, Romina Busch, Natalie Castro Gonzalez, Alicia Angelika Cool, Stefanie Fuchs, Melina Groten, Janina Hamacher, Sabrina Hermanns, Stefanie Jammers, Dennis Johr, Bianca Papke, Katrin Roßbruch, Lara Schilli, Daniela Vitale, Tamara Weijgerse, and Andres Westhofen.
Emre Ekmekci, Matthias Klöcker, Tim Marso, Dennis Paulußen, Jörg Peters, Marius Rosen, and Kevin Vossen passed the final exam for industrial mechanics.
Bashirr Aboul-Kata, Sven Buschmann, Fabian Deckwirth, Natalia Gutacker, Anja Pelzer, Tobias Schäpers, Caroline Steins, Janine Wenn, as well as Tanja Zester learned the career of chemical laboratory assistants.
Kevin Bartz, Christian Eschholz, Lena Maaßen, Oliver Savelsberg, Kevin Schmitz, Alexander Schuppe, and Niko Stötzer could receive their completion certificates for a vocation as electronics technicians for devices and systems.
Umut Balci, Oliver Cloth, Cüneyt Elitas, Sandra Gebhardt, Steffen Gerhards, Stefan Hahn, Andreas Janster, André Kleinen, Besnik Kurti, Julian Paulzen, Rebecca Christine Rothhanns, Sebastian Schiller, Adrian Wolfgang Alfred Spona, and Marcus Stötzel are now all IT specialists with a specialization in system integration.
Elena Broomfield received her completion certificate a photo media lab technician. Sebastian Dohmen was able to now call himself an automotive mechatronics engineer. Felix Jung was trained as a warehouse operator and Sven Maaßen as a machine and plant operator. Sarah Weißkirchen acquired the skills needed to be a technical drawer.
